Walgreens beauty clearance UPDATED 11-16-13

I usually go to my local drugstores a few times a week, just in case they have any unannounced sales, or new items that came in and this week was no exception. Walgreens didn't have any had to be there sales like CVS did (40% off select makeup brands) but that's still no reason to see what they have going on and to my great surprise when I walked in I noticed a ton of the orange clearance stickers lining the beauty wall. SCORE. They had good deals on just about every brand, and as bad as I wanted to buy up some clearance mascara I walked away...although I may go back and see. I did end up with a Revlon foundation that was regular $13.99 & I scored it for $3.39 (chaaaaching) they also had eye shadow sticks from Revlon I believe that were marked down 75% off, I didn't need them but the more I think about it I may go grab them for stocking stuffers and giveaways...hmm maybe I can find a coupon to and get them cheaper! UPDATE: I went back and found a Revlon Concealer, two double ended eye shadow sticks AND Revlon make up is BOGO 1/2 off and it applies to clearance makeup!

 

The foundation and concealer are for me and the others will be put up for stocking stuffers.

 

Revlon Crazy Shine nail buffer, got 2b crazy sleek flat iron & blow dry lotion, Almay wake up concealer all on clearance! (the lip balm pictured wasn't on clearance, the Walgreens knock off of EOS lip balm) & also in regular clearance I bought a picture frame collage that holds 5 pictures for .75 cent!

 

 

40% off Fergie Wet N Wild cosmetics at Walgreens !

Just wanted to let you guys know that Walgreens is having 40% off of there Wet N Wild Fergie line this week 8/25-8/31 . This does not include regular WNW products just the Fergie line. I hadn't bought any products from the Fergie line yet so I decided to run over to my local Walgreens this morning to see what they had ! Very happy I did because I got a GREAT deal !!! And one of the eye shadow quads I picked up had a manufactures $1 off coupon ! Woop Woop! I was excited!

This blush wasn't apart of the Fergie collection but it caught my eye and was begging to go home with me (: and the other blushes I have from WNW are so pigmented and last me forever so why not?! (:

 

The eyeshadows are normally $4.99 apiece at Walgreens & with the in store sale they were marked $2.99 plus one had an instant $1 off coupon making it $1.99 *STEAL DEAL ALERT* & my blush was $2.99 so altogether for two Fergie eye shadow quads and a blush I only spend $8.60 after taxes. Drugstore Mascara Review 6-6-13

My favorite product of all time is Mascara ! So I thought I'd do a mini mascara review on a few that I've been using the past few months, all of these are drugstore mascaras so you guys should be able to find them pretty easy! I never use just one mascara at a time I combine them up to 4 at a time usually, which I'm trying to make a list of all my combinations to share with you guys !

 

 

 

Big Bold mascara - NYC $4.47 @ Wal-mart

The brush on this mascara is way bigger than I thought so its good for top lashes but I wouldn't recommend it for bottom lashes its too messy for that. The actual mascara is Ok. Its not spectacular and I probably won't be buying it again.

 

 



Baby Got High Definition - Kleancolors $1.99 @ Beauty Max

I've only used this a few times since I bought it on Tuesday and so far so good ! I like the size of brush and how clean the mascara goes on! I can't wait to try the other mascaras from Kleancolors !

 

 

Rimmel ScandalEyes $7.00

I was so excited to buy this because I always have really good luck with Rimmel products & I heard that this is the stuff for long full eye lashes ! Well I haven't had that much luck with it . I've been layering it with a few different mascaras to get the look I want and its working out but I was really hoping that it was going to be the only one I had to use but not really. They have a few varieties of this one and I'm sure I'll try it because I'm very curious to see (:

 

 

 

Max Bold Curves - Rimmel $7 @ Walgreens

I LOVE this mascara ! LOVE LOVE. This is one of the only ones I can wear alone and still love the way my lashes look. But I do use it as a base for most of my combinations . Also I like to use this with false lashes to combine my real lashes with the false ones for a seamless look!

 

 Falsies volume express mascara -Maybelline $6 @ Drugstores

I really am a fan of this. I use it almost everyday I will be purchasing it again !! I love the curve in the brush and it never goes on clumpy ! Its easy to apply to bottom lashes too!

Sky Rise lengthening mascara - NYC - $2 @ Walmart

This mascara surprised me. Its another that I use almost everyday and for $2 it does its job! I love using this on my top side lashes and bottom lashes, any lash that's hard to reach this mascara brush can do it and its not messy at all !  I will be buying another tube of this !
